I love roasted, packet mash I prefer to 'real' potatoes too. Not keen on boiled at all unless they are still in their skins and I love jacket/baked pots.

Aint never had a bad tater but Hashed browns has to be the best. Covered in cream gravy of course.

Oh, I love potatoes...mashed, baked..once or twice, scalloped, french fried, etc.

Any old way to cook them, I used to eat them raw when I was a kid!

Potatoes are my favorite food.

Mashed--Prefer real, but I'll eat instant

Baked--Swimming in margarine with salt and pepper

Fried--with or without onion and with ketchup

Fries--With brown gravy and ketchup

Hash browns, scalloped, or cheesy potatoes with ketchup

Mmm and I forgot parsley potatoes. YUMMY!

I've had french fries with white gravy and melted cheese. It was SO good!! :yh_drool :yh_drool

I love all kinds of potatoes, especially baked ones though. Add some cheese and melted butter, and it's one of the nicest meals in the world!! :-6

for a light lunch i just had 2 medium size new potatoes and sum butter with a bit of 'lea on perrins' garlic sauce.

White gravy?? Never heard of that before, I always thought of gravy as being the dark brown that I am used too!

I'll take them any way they come, except perhaps raw, and that's only because I've not had them raw.

It's known in the Southern United States as "red-eye gravy". I have not a clue as to why, but it's delicious and very, very bad for you. I suggest ordering it with a table-side angioplasty.

All sorts of ways... you name it... baked, mashed, fried, in cakes, Daphne, scalloped, twice baked...

I've got a whole cookbook just for potatoes in Ontario. I'll have to go through it when I get back and find something I haven't done yet.

I love potaoes. I find the best for chips (french fries) are Maris Piper and also for roasting. Not so good for those of you who are on a diet but I love my roasties done in beef dripping, mmmmmm.

Im a potato guy. I like small red w/butter and parsley or mashed with sour cream mixed in but twice baked are the best of both worlds.
