A woman was sentenced to four months in prison after she posed as a ghost in an Italian castle. Guests at the castle, which is used as a hotel, were scared away by her late night 'Ghost Hauntings'. The owner of the Tryrolean castle said they heard strange footsteps, slammed doors and howlings. After using video equipment, the manager discovered that the 'ghost' was the disgruntied wife of an employee. She was unhappy at the way her husband was being treated at work.

It's a Canadian expression ;)

The hotel we stayed at was in England... I cannot remember the name of it - but the ghost was called "the blue lady" and there was a portrait of her on the staircase. I remember that we were near Stratford, Warrick Castle area/Wick but I cannot remember anything more.

My coworker just lent me a book on haunted places in Oregon. I remember seeing a "documentary" on a Civil War ghost hanging out at some old fort around here...and all I could think was, "What a drag. Being dead is just like being alive..stuck at work, again!" :D

Four months in prison?????

I would think it was more appropriate for the hotel to sue her for any lost money due to patrons leaving (which they would have to prove, of course) but four months in prison seems extremely steep for a little public mischief.
