I've just had to go to Poland with work, and I have to say that Krakow is one of the most stunning cities I've ever seen. It was kinda what I expected Prague to be?

My favourite City has still got to be Florence, the Ponte Veccio, all that art.... bliss!

i went to sharm el sheikh 2 years ago and i loved it and my mum did a nile cruise from luxor to aswaina and back, she said it was fantastic.

Right now I would have to say New York City. Very exciting place.

So far, Los Angeles, or Rome, but for some reason, in the UK, I really like Nottingham.

Sydney, Australia----------It's got everything that I like, food, golf, theatre, sun, sand, water galore, cosmopolitan, great transportation, scenery galore, entertainment.

I haven't been to too many big cities...

Washington D.C.--only live alittle over an hour from it.

Baltimore City--used to live there for 2 whole months, couldn't stand it.

Richmond, VA -- live about 1 hour north of it

New York City--only 2 times, about 20 years apart and ONLY day trips.

Boston Mass.--also 2 times in the late 80's when I worked for Airlines and flew for free and only day trips.

Tampa Florida -- Long time ago (in 80's)

Philadelphia, PA -- last Sept for a Women's conference

Of all those cities, I'd have to say the prettiest and nicest memory I have is....drum roll....

BTW Should have said, the city that's most surprised and impressed me has been San Diego.

Least impressive was Cairo - apart from the museum of course.

My favorite city is Gardiner, Montana. Its one of the gateway cities to Yellowstone National Park, which is a mecca of sorts to me. If you haven't been, you are sorely lacking. I worked there for a summer, and the place caused a shift in who I am from scenic beauty alone. More than that, its the untouched spirit of the land that reaches you.

Cheesy? Yes. Deniable? No.

I really thought both Toronto & Montreal, Canada were beautiful when I was there in high school, years ago. But my favorite city (pre-Katrina) would still have to be Biloxi, Mississippi. I'm probably just a bit partial there, though.

Have no favorite city. I'm a red neck midwest country boy. Any town with more'n one bar is too big.

Always thought I'd like to visit GB though. Dad was based in England with the mighty 8th. during WW2. He got to visit Scotland briefly thanks to those pesky Me 109's. He loved renting a bicycle and riding the country lanes. He always spoke highly of the English countryside.

Oooooooh. I'm completely biased on the subject of the English countryside. But....

England is like a wonderful garden that has been tended with love for 1000 years. Everytime you turn a corner on the winding paths, the scenery changes and you have differents plants and ideas. It's the geology - look at a geological map and it changes every few miles.

You've marvellous Beech forests and chalk Downs in the south; deep winding lanes between high banks and wind-gnarled trees, granite moorland and sea in the South West.

The Midlands are gentle hills and valleys, woods and streams, cottages built in golden ironstone; the North has high moors, drystone walls and limestone - caves and cliffs.

Everwhere are castles, monasteries, stately homes and monuments in varying states of ruin that go back 4000 years or more.

This is a massive oversimplification of it, but it's my heart's view, and, as I said, I'm biased.:-4

Scotland and Wales are amazing too, but I'll leave them to those who can speak from the heart about them. I'll just say that a project I have in mind is to walk up the river Tay.

Sydney, Australia...beautiful city and the bay is just wonderful there.

Jackson in Wyoming is beautiful, but nothing beats Los Angeles. It is home. :-4

Dublin by far... loved the place, went there recently with 10 girls on a mates birthday weekend. bars and people were great. I would go back tommorrow.:-4

Some of my favourite cities are Sydney, Paris, Florence, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Berlin, Barcelona, London, Dublin - so many different flavours. Im a big fan of small towns, villages and countryside too.

My favourite city is Halifax, because it's not far from me and has a wonderful waterfront, nice walking trails, and great restaurants.

I also love Ottawa. Haven't been since I was a teenager, but it has so many museums and cool stuff to do.

Galway & Killarney in Ireland...loved it & the food was to die for. But will have to settle for Philadelphia, Pa for the moment.

Consider what we Brits had at the same time and the grandeur of the place is even more amazing.

I lost my luggage on the way! We strapped down all the clothes bags to the roof so tight that the straps twanged when you plucked them. Well, my bag somehow wiggled loose and is being enjoyed by a highway squirrel or something. So, I'm 300 miles away from home and have 1 change of clothes tucked away for when the weather got cooler.
