I guess prom isn't technically a holiday, but I couldn't find a better spot for it.
Saturday night was my senior prom, and it was amazing. I wore a beautiful purple dress, with a coursage made by my boyfriends mom that matched and had pictures of us on it from last year's prom. My hair looked beautiful and had purple ribbon and little flowers through it. We spent lots of time with the family taking pictures. Brian (boyfriend) brought me roses, pulled my chair out for me, got me a drink, and continued to make the night wonderful. We had a beautiful meal of salad, chicken marsala, roast beef, stuffed shells, and cake, danced so much our legs are still sore, went bowling with friends till 2 am, went to eat & park afterward, and came home just in time to see the sun rise together. When we were ready for ben, the sun was waking up. It was adorable. The second he wrapped his arms around me, we fell asleep. We slept until 3pm, and when we woke up, he made me breakfast and we spent the rest of the day together.
Anyone else remember their senior prom?

LittleGel, What a wonderful memory. Im so glad to hear there are young people who go to their proms. And yes!! I remember mine. I went to 4!!
As the guest of a senior in 1968!! ( A great honor for a sophmore to be asked) As the guest of the " Love of my life" in 1969( I was a junior) To my own in 1970. And to my boyfriends in 1970 at his school. The dresses are wonderful. The flowers are wonderful. The whole event is wonderful. Im so glad you had a great time.

Nope never had a prom back when I was at school, though if we did either it can't have been any good, or I wasn't invited! Probably the latter hahaha. :wah:
Great pics though everyone, looks like a load of fun, and all very smart!

Lovely girls.....and handsome feller!
When I was a Senior, I had a small part in the school play and was good friends with the boy who did the photography. He was a sophomore. I asked him to go with me, and double dated, because he did not drive yet. I wore a pale yellow dress with matching shoes. We had a great time. We remained friends til we went our separate ways after I started college. My mom took pictures of us and we were also a "good looking" couple---he wore a tux.
This was back in 1968.
That memory makes me smile.

:wah: I'm actually her Aunt, but she is more like another daughter, she is like our side of the family, she looks nothing like her Mum.
