Hi,

I hope you are all well:) My name is Claire. I was introduced to this site by my mate Ali who is a member. I live in a 1 bed bungalow in cambridge with my fiance Pete, my 3 dogs and 1 cat. I have spent about 6 years off sick with a bad back so doing gardening and related projects has kept me going, gave me something to focus on. I am 29. I work in a hospital the same as my fiance but in different departments. I have a lovely south facing garden. We have done a lot of work since we moved in 4/5 years ago. It was a wreck, nothing in the garden had been touched in years. We now have new sheds up, fences painted, shrubs saved and flowering, shingle the whole garden due to dogs and grass dont mix. It looks fab. New furniture. We are now looking at putting a porch room up. I will try to put some pictures on if i can.

Bad backs scare me. They certainly put me off going near the garden, too. Isn't Cambridge all flat and porous soil?

Hi everyone thank you for the lovely welcome. Cambridge is very flat and porous soil. I love just getting outside i feel trapped in the house sometimes and i cant go out so it is lovely to be in the garden and see all the birds. i sound naff. I can do little bits and pieces. which helps to wile away the time.
