Now we are under a tornado watch....

I hate bad weather. I'm so scared.

I took an anti-anxiety pill my doctor gave me for bad weather (yes this is sad I know) and I'm drinking a bottle, er glass, of wine.

I remember living in chicago and always having tornado warnings and watches.. they sure are a scary thing! Come move out to Az!! We hardly ever get any rain! :D

mmm Phoenix, I love Phoenix from what I've seen. And it's tornado free!

Yea, TN is like tornado alley.

I want to move away for that very reason lol

We've actually talked about moving there, we both love our jobs too much to leave though.

But eventually, we're heading West!! :D

Watches don't bother me much. It's the warnings that scare me.

Yes, watches just build up the anticipation... it sucks.

I'm glad you know the difference, so many people where I live don't.

They will call me and say "you're under a tornado warning" , make me pee my pants, then I find out it's just a watch....

We get them here in NC as well. I don't worry about them much. The odds are your side. I made it through a war ok. I guess when your number's up that's it, no use worrying.

Reminds me of a joke:

One guy says to another "I never take an airplane I'm afraid of flying. I always take a train".

The other guy replies "Hey, did you hear about the train wreck yesterday?"

First guy, "No I didn't, what happened"

Other guy, "Oh yeah happened yesterday, a plane crashed into a train":wah:

Tornado watch! That's awesome! I dream of being able to go tornado chasing. See if you can get some footage!

Everything has passed this morning thank goodness!

It didn't get too bad.

That is what spring is like in the southern US, a lot of bad storms. It's part of living here unfortunately.

Kathy Ellen;606753 wrote: Hey NotToday, stay safe in TN. We're all wishing you the best. We had a tornado roll by through my area when I was in Kansas. Scariest moment I've ever had. Also when I was in Myrtle Beach I drove through the after affects of the tornado. It wizzed by, and the traffic I was caught up in drove through the remnants of it. All the cars were pushed to the other lane and then into the fields...so scary.

Stay safe...let us know how you are...keep us posted.:-4

Thanks Kathy, and everyone for posting in this thread!!

Everything is fine, now. At least until the next round of bad thunderstorms come through. We usually have several every spring. Hopefully nothing major though, I'm crossing my fingers!
