In the course of our lives we all encouter people whe affect our lives in powerful ways. They encourage us, help us, teach us, perhaps alter our beliefs. They may be gone but are never forgotten. Lets tell each other about some of these people.
My list is endless.. There is My fifth grade teacher: Taught me to love reading... I never put a book down, after knowing her. A man who taught ballet in the cafateria of our school for 1.00$ a lesson. Changed my life! Put rhythum in this body. A plastic surgeon , here from Cuba in the 60s... came to the hospital and repaired my face when I was 16. ( after a terrible car accident) He came even though my parents didnt have the money up front to pay him. I owe him my face.
A wonderful wonderful woman I gardened for in Virginia.. shes gone now. She raised miniature horses. Taught me about gardening, birds, and most importantly
gave me a quiet comfort regarding spirituality and death. Most recently a couple in Georgia (never met me before I walked into their lives) Owner financed a business for me...... so I could have it..until the bank gave me the loan. My dear dear friend in New York.. when my children were small and I couldnt afford to go anywhere.... she pay for my trips...so I could join everyone.. and SLOWLY let me pay her back. I was able to go to The Bahamas, New Orleans, Naggs head.. and out to dinner in many great restaurants. My sons basketball coach and his wife
would take my children for the day, or a weekend.. So I could have some free time
and the boys got to be with a great dad for a while......God Bless you all... Im starting my day with a tear in my eye.. And a warm wonderful warmth in my heart
It feels great!!!!!!!!
