I read a post in another thread and it reminded me of something that happened to me a LONG time ago,....I've heard the term, "butt calls" when someone accidentially hits the phone and dials your number and you hear their conversation or what is going on around them, and they don't know it.

I heard a radio announcer have people call these stories in one time, and he even confessed his own "butt call"....which was while he was cheating on his girlfriend @ 2am....called his girlfriend accidentally.....OOOOPS!! Needless to say he didn't have her to call anymore!!:sneaky:

The butt call that I remember the most that I've received was One night my husband's (ex now) step-father and his Girlfriend (about a year after his Mother died) were "gettin' busy" and we were listening...it was like a Jerry Springer effect, I knew it was trashy and dirty, but I was SUCKED in to listen...my Ex and I were trying not to laugh, both on separate phones listening, until we just couldn't take it anymore and hung up....I felt nasty and dirty and honestly NEVER told his step-father (we lost communication with him anyway) to this day and very few people knew of this incident....now about 10 years later...thought I'd share...:wah:

Actually, I believe I've been involved in one of those with my girlfriend once, whilst trying to get into the apartment... we're not sure how it must've sounded on the other end and I don't believe any words were exchanged until we realised what must've occurred...

Butt calls are something I don't get often enough. They crack me up. One of my customers has my home phone number. She was at a bar and I sat there listening to their conversations for quite a while. The next day, when she came in, I started commenting on the stuff (nothing good though) that they were talking about the night before. She was terribly confused how I knew so much of her previous night until I finally decided to tell her. :wah:

A "butt call" is a term for a call made by mistake, reason they call it "butt call", as if you sat on the phone in your pocket accidentially....silly term cause I don't think the butt ever makes the call, usually the numbers on the phone are hit by another object, like in a purse or you are handling it and you don't realize you hit redial.

Booty call: well its having a rooter on call....

I had one of these on my answering machine at work this morning...it sounded like someone mowing the grass...still not sure who it was...think it was the boss man, I forgot to ask him....it was fun to listen to until I woke up!!:rolleyes:
