The only fad I really followed is the ripped jean thing. Go buy jeans, then you razor bladed them to make them look cool, the more rips the better.

Do I have to post a video? I don't have one.

But you can use your imagination:

In the 80s and early 90s I wore skinny leg jeans (I had my mom taper them down to a 5 inch hem!) with zippers and bows on the backs of the ankles, huge sweaters, big fat fluffy hair that I ratted to stand five inches off my head and coated with gel and hairspray so it would make a crispy noise when touched, earrings the size of drink coasters, waaay too much makeup...two-and-a-half inch fingernails pierced with tiny rings in them, carried purses the size of duffle bags and wore LA Gear Brats high top sneakers with a button on one that read "WHY BE NORMAL." I also stuffed my jeans into my slouch socks and carried a boxcutter in one of said socks.

I looked like a hooker now that I reflect but dang, I thought I was cool... oh don't forget the sunglasses...

Come on ..you all have sung along to Boy Gorges - Karma kamilian...so here is the place to put your embarrassing videos...

I'm not shy here's my embarrassing fad

Ok first of all I would like to make it clear I have never sung alone to Karma Chameleon.

But I will admit to a phase of my life where I used to regularly visit Chiselhurst caves for a bit of roleplaying.

Well it wasn't boy george I was guilty of singing along to, it was more like Vanilla Ice. And I'm only guilty of stonewashed jeans and 4 foot bangs.

Pre-grunge Grunge of the mid 70's

We looked bloody awful,

Star Jeans, these were wide leg jeans, they never tapered from you but to your shoes and if you could not see your shoes that was key.

Huge big hiking boots

Oiy and to top it off

Nasty ugly heavy plaid lumber jack jackets.

Just hideous stuff looking back at it now.
