I just added a pic to my profile and noticed the friends list thingy. It's one of those things that I started but don't know how to finish. I figured the easiest thing to do is this:

If you want to be on my friends list PM me and add me to yours. I don't want to forget anyone that should be there. And Nomad, now that you've gotten over your moody episode, could you put me back on yours again? Idiot. :rolleyes:

btw, I'm going to sleep right now so don't put me on a time limit for anwering.

I just don't understand the concept of a "friends' list" on a forum that seems to be otherwise geared for adults.

It just seems like such a junior high school notion.

Then again, some of the dust-ups around here resemble school yard spats and shenanigans, so maybe it's a valid idea after all...

But anyway Koan, I am still unsure about the Friends List...is that the same as the Buddy list? I think not. How do you get on a friends list? I have some but I don't remember how they got there. (But I'm happy they are)

I know some people don't use friends lists that's why I did this thread. No point my sending requests to people that don't approve of them. Once I've started one though, it is rude to not invite people that ought to be there onto it. So you see the problem that I'm trying to solve.

Plus, I got another chance to razz Nomad. :wah:

pretty much the same thing with buddy but if both have each other on the buddy list then it shows up in the friends list on your profile.

you go to the person profile and hit the add to your buddy list..then pm that person so they knwo and can add you to theirs

Really, though... I don't want to go on record as being against the friends list. It's just that I find it rather peculiar. If folks enjoy doing it, then bless 'em.
