yah i saw that yesterday. even tho im an american, i grew up watching Are you being served? and Mr. Humphries was my fav. character (besides Mrs. Slocholm and her ***** comments)....anyway, i will never forget it when he woudl say, "i'm freeeeeeeeee". God rest his soul and his teddy bear (i believe it was called Mr. Paddington?
i purchased the DVDs of the series, i think i'll watch them now.

Couldn't stand the guy, loved the programme but he spoilt it, too camp.

That was a FUN program! Predictable and silly, but fun. Remember all the inventions to inflate underwear etc... and Mr Grace.. you've all done very well. And I think the joke about the marker of success being getting the key to the executive toilet came from this show.

I watched the show, and loved it. I thought he was funny, so were the other cast members. So, I will say goodbye to Mr. Humphries, who no longer is free.:-1
