Who does the house work in your home?

I still live with my parents, so while im at work, mums does it all.

But I take care of my own room at least! lol

I clean my room every saturday! Dust, hoover and change the bed sheets. Oh yeah and clean the bird cage out!

Housework is for women. I go out and kill an animal and drag it back to our cave.

I absolutely hate housework of any kind. I cannot stand being the domestic type of woman who goes around cleaning and vacuming till all hours of the night. I don't mind cooking a little and even sewing, but actually enjoying cleaning......nope. And I can't stand people who do. I hate being told that I left a little bit of soap in the bottom of the tub, or food in the sink as if the sky is going to f-ing fall over it. And women who are the cleanaholics who think that everyone must be this way.............Ah, it's what I cannot deal with. I'm not a pig in any way. I just cannot stand being told that I must be cleaning all the time or else. Or walking in after working all day and then someone who has been home all day stewing.... just has to bring you into the kitchen to show you a piece of f-ing cheese you accidentally dropped onto the floor in the morning while cooking eggs. And they act as if you did it to insult them purposely. I am not one of those types. I think that people who are obsessed with cleaning and then telling others they aren't as good as they are because they dont clean all day and night, they are the obsessive compulsive types that I just cannot bear to be around.:-5

I have a friend exactly as you mentioned - she came over and swiped her finger across some old coke bottles - you ever going to dust these? - I said ah, they're not on the schedule for another 4 months.

Cleaning is all she does - she never has her windows or doors open - she will blow dry her hair in the garage so theres no hair on the floor!!

I told her I live in my house - deal with it or don't come over.

BH - they could be right - I've been wrong before.

I usually never admit that to a man..:wah:

Not really, because I used to be serious...he treated me like I was his servant...

No hate it, always have, always will. When I have done a good job though (rarely) I really feel good.

I dont mind house work I do a little every day to keep on top of things then its not to much work get to spend more time with the kids .

Actually...yes I do...I like the satisfaction of a job well done...the tidiness...the cleanliness...the fresh smell of polish and cleaning products.



There are 2 things I'm not too keen on.....cleaning windows and cleaning the oven...

Argh the oven has to be THE worst job.

I don't enjoy housework as much as I use to. Growing up I was the oldest of five kids, we were expected to keep the house clean even when my mom did'nt work from time to time. But when my parents came home from work our house was always clean all my mom had to do was cook I counted that as a great reward for a job well done. But now the only thing I like to do is the dishes. :-4
