Are there any types of clothing, shoes, colours etc that you just wouldn't wear? I know we all have different tastes so it's not a thread to take the pish out of other people for what they like or dislike, just interested.

the low rise jeans and a shirt that shows your midsection...that is alright on a young girl but looks trashy on a older woman to me.....

Eww yeah, men in string vests, awful! I am a big girl on top and never wear low cut tops either. My sister bought me a top which isn't really low cut but more than I'd usually wear and said it was about time I showed some cleavage, lol.

Since putting on weight I have to be respectful of others, so I do cover up
I always try to dress according to my age, nothing looks worse than mutton dressed as lamb, even if they have a cracking figure

I am not a dress or "glitz" person. So I would rarely wear dresses (last dress..5 years ago, on wedding day). I would not wear anything flashy or sparkly..or with lots of busy stuff on it.

Old that is, did that about two years ago.
I wouldn't wear trainers with trousers, boots or shoes with tracksuit bottoms either. I don't like most greens although I have a couple of green tops, I refuse to ever wear brown or buy my son anything brown, can't stand it in clothes.
Sandals, especially with socks, hell no.

I used to be bother by that too but people that go out with no bra I can't stand. I always have to make a snide comment, lol. OK I guess if you are flat but you see some women with boobs wobbling about, no need.
Those tops too that seem to be in fashion that go right down the middle showing off most of the boobs. The ones dressed like that on a night out are the first I bet to complain about some guy trying to grope them or making some comment.

I hate bliddy ties as well, what a stupid thing a tie is.

What purpose do they serve. Who and how were they invented. Did some bloke just say to his mate "Hey, i got a good idea, why don't you tie this strip of rag around your neck, make you look smart it will". :wah:
They're for the women to keep the fellas in line, drag them around.
