You're avatar has been just screaming at me!

I think I'm gonna load myself up with some Janis and go hit the biker bar at the end of the street and feed the jukebox.

Thanks.:D

JacksDad, thank you for that cool video!! You just put some pizazz in my day!

I was just a kid when she left this planet but she still had an effect on me. Watching that video makes me both happy and kind of sad...knowing how people treated her and stuff. Well...I don't want to be a bummer; I just wanted to say thanks!!

When you go to the biker bar, please play Maybe and I Need A Man for me. Those are my favorites. ;)

She died right around the time that Jimmy Hendrix died.

Funny how when I come back to this thread I have to watch the video again before I reply.:guitarist

Yea. I was 9 years old but I remember my sister listening to Janis and I loved it. Always wondered about that funny smell coming from her room though!:-3

Any way. Don't be sad. Her time was just right. Noone could spill their guts any more than her and have lived much longer. She was here to share with us a little peice of her heart.

And she did.

So guess what I'll be drinking at Backstreets.;)

That was really well said, JacksDad. Well, I've got a cherry vanilla cola going here so...let's have a drink to Janis: Thirty some years later you are STILL affecting people. Right on! :)
