I work as a personal assistant with a lady with a disability. I go to her job with her, and wherever else she goes during the day. I help her with personal care, and whatever else she needs help with around her office. I work 30 hours a week. My title is Community Integration Specialist..impressive, huh?

sounds interesting marie, i used to work in nursing homes and also adults with learning difficulties, i absolutely loved it and the only reason i stopped was because the standard of care went downhill due to staff shortages etc and it was heartbreaking to watch

I have two part-time jobs: I'm part of the front office staff at a very busy psychiatric/therapy office. I also work from home (weekends included  ) with The Hubby, who is an attorney. I'm his legal assistant.
It's one way to get to sleep with the boss :guitarist :p

Hey I've been thinking about extensions, because my long hair has thinned out as I've gotten a bit older. How do they get attached to your head and what does it cost and how long do they stay on and can you wash your hair with them in?

if they are a reputable salon they wont attach extensions to your hair unless its strong and thick enough to hold the weight, they last for 3 months i think and yes you can wash them

So nice to meet you. Yes, I work. I am a teacher and just love it. I teach little 3rd graders and they keep me smiling. Many people think that teachers have the" life of Rielly," but I disagree. I work everynight on school projects and work every weekend grading papers and projects. The paper work never ends. Yes, I do have the summers off sometimes, but I save for it all year. I'm paid on a 10 month basis, not 12.

Bless you Kathy,
We have quiet a few teachers on here, and I admire each and every one of you. I was a substitute teacher for 2 years and LOVED it!! Thank you for the time that you devote to our children!:-4

When kids are students in school, they are inevitably warned at some point that a day will come when they realize just how much some of their teachers did for them. Well, I think that's true, and I'm by no means an exception to that rule.
I remember the camp counselor who observed me trying to teach myself how to swim, and enthusiastically helped me along the way.
I remember my English teacher in the seventh grade, who took note of the fact that I was really showing an interest in the literature we were reading in class, and who encouraged me to read more and then to try my hand at writing.
It's absolutely amazing what this kind of mentoring can do. I'm 100% for it.

Lecturers (in Scotland anyway) are the poor underpaid sods who who are expected to educate University ans College students.
I (allegedly) teach in a college .
It would be a great job if not for the students, the department heads and government "initiatives".
