Geldof earns Brit award

Bob Geldof is to be honoured with a special award for outstanding contribution to music at this year's Brit Awards.
The former Boomtown Rats frontman will receive the award for his work on the Band Aid/Live Aid songs, which raised millions of euro for the starving in Ethiopia.
The Awards now in their 25th year, will be held at London's Earls Court on February 9th 2005 and hosted by Chris Evans.
