The most disgusting football player ever... mimics pulling his pants down in

the end zone and then wiping his butt on the goalpost. No flags thrown of

any kind. And if that isn't excessive celebrating at the very least... more like

UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT.

And they talk about Terrell Owens taking a Sharpie out and signing a

football fer cryin' out loud.

I for one won't watch any more Vikings games with Moss playing. In

protest, not that it will do any good!!

What has the "official" reaction been since this happened? Do they just not care?

Dunno, I was in a place the last coupla days where there wasn't a lot of

sports news watching! :D

Apparently he said he didn't much care if he got in trouble for it, he'd

take the heat. But even if he gets say a $10,000 fine, it's mere peanuts

to this guy!

Some people do care and were disgusted by it, note above. I dont think it was a bad thing though. I mean, the reason why he did it was because, the GBPackers fans, after a win on their home turf, wait for the opposing players to exit the stadium and board their bus. The Packer fans, pull down their pants (to their bare butts) And moon the players. If the fans can do it, they should expect to recieve it from time to time. Just like in Baseball, when a pitcher hits batters, the other pitcher will stick up for their teammates next inning with a brush-back pitch to send a message. Thats all that Moss was doing. Just sending a message, message recieved or it wouldnt be an issue.

RSF, I did understand at the time about the fans... but I think it is a

little different since the fans (generally?) aren't televised doing this!

I also worried about any young kids in the stadium seeing that kind of

behavior.

Oh well, he's with the Raiders now anyway. Guess if I do happen to

want to catch any gamse, I'll be forced to see him!!

Throwing Batteries and Snowballs, and others things is obviously somthing I wouldnt want to happen. But PRETENDING to pull down your pants and moon people....oh darn. When I was a little kid, I knew what mooning was....If kids these are so upset and disturbed over this.....wow, they have a rough life ahead of them. Most kids would think its funny. I know they are our "role models" to some and whatever, but seriously, even some of the ESPN comentators didnt think it was that big of a deal.

I don't care what the ESPN commentators think, really.

And as far as kids thinking it was funny, that's part of the problem I

have with it. So what if you KNOW what mooning someone is. So

what. I still think it just shows a lot of disrespect for the people

watching the game, and the however many thousands or millions

watching at home. He didn't just mimic mooning either, he also did

the mimic of wiping his butt on the goalpost. For a MAN making

umpteen bazillion dollars, it just doesn't seem right to me. Show you

are a man, show some respect for yourself, too. Like JAB quoted,

act like you've been in the end zone before.

Two wrongs don't make a right. To mimic mooning fans just 'cause

they've mooned you... well, that's third grade time.
