Our president has submitted a $290 trillion budget. Just how much is a trillion!!????

A trillion is a thousand billion, or 1,000,000,000,000 (American billion not British, which is slipping out of use. So 290 Billion dollars is.......
$290,000,000,000,000.

Well it's 2.9 trillion...
290 trillion dollars is just unfathomable... I seriously doubt that there is even 290 trillion dollars in the world, let alone the U.S...
But as far as the article, I would like to know when it is these people realized that the increased amount of spending in Iraq was not something the tax payers were willing to sacrifice seeing as how medicare and medicaid had enough problems as it was...
I don't trust one of them, and it's starting to get borderline sad.
