Peace At Last


In a world of disposable emotions
Where nothing is as it seems
Life is full of commotions
And wrought with dying dreams
Your dreams are filled with hope
For love kindness and peace
But every day you cope
Looking for a new release
Your life is done with the fight
You've spent your every breath
Your peace is now in sight
As you fall asleep in death

The grim reaper as your avatar punctuates this nicely. The universal death experience is a comment I have heard before but it is great that you managed to work it into a poem.
