Le 1er février 2007, dans toute la France :

Participez à la plus grande mobilisation

des citoyens contre le Changement Climatique !

L’Alliance pour la Planète lance un appel simple à tous les citoyens, 5 minutes de répit pour la planète : tout le monde éteint ses veilles et lumières le 1er février 2007 entre 19h55 et 20h00. Il ne s’agit pas d’économiser 5 minutes d’électricité uniquement ce jour-là, mais d’attirer l’attention des citoyens, des médias et des décideurs sur le gaspillage d’énergie et l’urgence de passer à l’action ! 5 minutes de répit pour la planète : ça ne prend pas longtemps, ça ne coûte rien, et ça montrera aux candidats à la Présidentielle que le changement climatique est un sujet qui doit peser dans le débat politique.

Pourquoi le 1er février ? Car le lendemain sortira, à Paris, le nouveau rapport du groupe d’experts intergouvernemental sur l’évolution du Climat (GIEC) des Nations Unies. Cet événement aura lieu en France : il ne faut pas laisser passer cette occasion de braquer les projecteurs sur l’urgence de la situation climatique mondiale.

Si nous y participons tous, cette action aura un réel poids médiatique et politique, moins de trois mois avant l’élection présidentielle!

Faites circuler au maximum cet appel autour de vous et dans tous vos réseaux ! Faites le également apparaître sur votre site Internet et dans vos news letters.

Alliance for Planet launches a simple call with all the citizens, 5 minutes of respite for planet: everyone extinguishes its days before and lights on February 1, 2007 between 19h55 and 20h00. It is not a question to save 5 minutes of electricity only this day, but to draw the attention of the citizens, media and decision makers to the wasting of energy and the urgency to pass to the action! 5 minutes of respite for planet: that does not take a long time, that does not cost anything, and that will show to the candidates with Presidential that the climatic change is a subject which must weigh in the political debate. Why on February 1? Because the following day will leave, in Paris, the new report/ratio of the intergovernmental group of experts on the evolution of Climate (GIEC) of the United Nations. This event will take place in France: one should not let pass this occasion to direct the projectors on the urgency of the world climatic situation. If we take part all in it, this action will have a real media and political weight, less than three months before the presidential election!
