OK, this may be the Italian in me..but nothing beats a good old roasted pepper sandwich, on white bread with Miracle Whip.

The perfect sandwich for me changes periodically. My favorite sandwich today is the one I just ate for lunch. Multigrained bread slathered with mayo with a slab of the world famous meatloaf that I made last evening, washed down with a bottle of Steinlager beer.

Mine's a panini toasted then spread with tuna/mayo and topped with grated cheese/blk pepper and toasted till cheese melts...divine
OR
my all time fave toasted onion bagels with cream cheese...simple but GORGE!

That worked just fine, I thought it was something to do with ice cream...you can get Mr Whippy ice cream from the ice cream man over here

I was thinking this too, but I like mine on a potato roll with mayo...and happy girl...and who waits 'til next day?? Joke in our family about how long my brother waits, I think soonest was an hour...but usually we wait for it all to settle, and then in about 4 hours...ready for a "sam-ich" yummm:yh_drool

it tastes like Grey Poupon. It took my hubby a while to get used to our plain ol' yellow mustard but he likes it now.
I love chinese mustard too, SO spicy! yum!

Try to get some Colman's mustard powder (although you could try pre-
prepared). You just add water to make the powder into a paste, and
leave the stuff for about 15 minutes to develop the flavour. You can
then get the authentic taste of proper mustard. You don't need a lot,
unless you want to blow your socks off!

I love the spicy mustards and such. I think I have 4 different kinds in my fridge now. :wah: it's really good on crackers with summer sausage and hunk of chedder.

Bill, it comes in many varieties, I usually like Beef only. I looked up two links for you, the second one is a company here in the US that is known as a big supplier of it, usually very popular around Christmas for gifts...
Very yummmy with crackers and cheese and mustard of choice...
and yes I say hunk of bread, usually chunk of cheese (in block form)

I'm sure there is exceptional food on both sides of the pond - vastly different
from the stereotypical fast food v. tasteless crap that seems to be endlessly

It is quiet yummmy...My family is from Pennsylvania and up there they call it "ring bolagna", its sold in a "ring shape". It's one of our favorite snacks...but very fattening!!:-5
