Lord, hear our voice as we pray to You. Help Your sons and daughters as they do their duty to keep us safe. Watch over them as You watch over those who have not come home from other conflicts; and take gently the souls of those whom You have called Home.

Lord Jesus we thank You for our many blessings. Those apparent to us and those only You can see. We thank You for the blood You shed in remission of our sins. We humbly ask that You watch over those that put themselves in harms way to protect our rights and blessings from the forces of darkness that threaten us from abroad. We ask that You lay Your hands upon them and shore them up in times of uncertainty. We ask that You stand beside them in times of strife. We ask that for those who are there and have been injured for Your will to be done. You are the doctor of doctors and the divine surgeon. Lord we also ask that You let Your light shine on the loved ones of those who have come to be with You while serving.

All this we pray in Your precious name Jesus.
