I have finally convinced Rick to get us broadband Internet. I have the task of investigating what is out there. So far, it seems I will be going with Frontier , aswe have thier phone service. I can do it for less than $60 a month..for phone and high speed, no dial up internet service. First three months are free. So after I talk to Rick about this I will probably call Frontier back.

Ah the joy of Broadband. I remember the olden days when we had dial-up and nearly everyday was a nightmare. Trust me when you get Broadband you really will notice a difference!!

You won't be sorry Marie anything is better than dialup..

Oh I cannot wait. I have experienced broadband already..when I go to the library, to wait to pick up Rick after work, I bring in my laptop and it is great. Often I have done alot of my downloading from there, just to get it done quicker.

We get our phone and internet service from a company named Frontier as well. What a coincidence! That dial-up service we had in the beginning was very slow. My bill is also less than $60/month for phone and high speed.

It is now official, I called Frontier and we will have the equipment by the weekend.

How easy is the self install kit to use? I will be getting the kit and wires for the PC and a wireless box for the laptop. Just hope it does not take me all weekend to figure it out.

I pay £19.00 per month for 8 meg broadband,telephone line rental and all telephone calls...............not bad hey ?

What does that translate to in US dollars? Sounds like it may be a good deal, though.

That's about $37 or so Marie.
