Hi my names Nicky and i've just registered today. I'm a stay at home mum with four little ones . I lost my hubby about Six months ago to a heart attack and my mother 12 months ago . Life's still a struggle but i hoped by registering here i could meet people and chat and try to get on with my life . I hope i've not bored you all to much and thanks in advance for listening

Thankyou Spot . Four really is a handful . Mine are 10 , 8 , 3 , 13 months . Can i ask how old your children are and how did you cope .

They were all under five years old at one stage. That was fairly hectic, it got less so. We staggered our start and finish hours at work and hired a nanny after the second was born. By the time they were all at school we shifted to four-day weeks at work and staggered the other three days. By that point we'd learned to drive and got a car so we could ferry the wretches between their innumerable after-school activities (they were close enough to walk to and from school but the evenings were packed). Why anyone in their right mind would encourage their offspring to get keen on gym, ballet or taking over the local scout troop I'm not sure but that's how it turned out.

Go on, tell us about yours, what they like doing, how they get on together. Mine have always been good friends, and four's a neat number because there's never two "in" with each other and one out in the cold, they can form shifting pairs whenever there's any friction.

Sunday's a good day to have chosen to introduce yourself.

Wow sounds like you had your hands full . I couldn't imagine a house without children . Their hard work but their my life .

Hello from California, Nicky! Well, we know that your life is never boring :wah: but you can always find someone here in the garden, since we seem to be located all over the world!

It can take a long time to figure out how to get around the various forums here, etc...so, if you get confused, just send someone a private message or open a new thread & someone will help you.
