Hey Fisher,

Sorry about the lobster's low prices...bummer:(

Have you had a chance to read any of Linda Greenlaw's books about swordfishing and lobster fishing?

I'd be interested to hear your views about her as a captain of a swordfishing and lobster boats.

I really loved reading all of her books as I do like fishing and being on a boat.

No I have not read any of her books. Sounds interesting, how was she catching the swordfish harpoon or long line?

I looked at the price of the lobster at a local restaurant today. $40.00 for one tail. My daughter had it, I had shrimp & scallops, son-in-law had catfish. None of it was very good, so we'll not go back to that restaurant.

We went to Red Lobster twice and their food was crap.

Lobster is always way overpriced at restaurants.

its 6.99 a lb fresh here.

Well another season has come to an end. The price stayed at 3.75 so there wasn't much money made but a safe season is a good season. Now six months off, lets hope for a beautiful summer so I can get lots of riding in:)

O yes many times especially in the spring when the water warms up they become more active and you have to be more careful. One got me a week ago on the thumb and turned the nail black....
