What would you put in a time capsule?

What would you choose to put inside a time capsule for the next generation?
I'm not too serious tonight, so my answer is a dingbat which is the little plastic thingy that goes in the center of a 45 record to keep it on the spindle.
I would also include a classic pull-off soda tab.

a widget from the bottom of a beer can. a pair of chop sticks. a ginsu knife, just to see if in a thousand years it will still cut a can.:yh_laugh

i think i would put my husband. so, he could see the future. ha ha ha no, really think i would put some of my art work, so, others could see it in the future.

I'd put in a couple of electrical items, so that they could see how funny and primitive we are! :wah:
I'd also put in a couple of legal updates so that people could see what we felt was 'right' and how human rights have developed.
Finally, some of my own art work and possibly a family tree to date, so that they could get in touch with my future family....

My husband & I made a time capsule in 1999.
We put in a TV Guide - a picture of us - and I don't know what else. We still have it closed up.

Not this guy - hes a sweety - trust me theres been several past boy friends I'd like to can and seal the lid.
Remember when spam use to have the key on the side to open the can?? I'm showing my age..

Oh yes I remember the key. It was almost dangerous to open.

Being a collector of stuff - I collect KEYS - I have a spam Key, skate key, old hotel keys of course old car keys, old skeleton door keys, suit case keys - I could open anything.

Might be in trouble here, but is there room for our Prime Minister? Make sure you bury it deep so nobody will find it for a very long time! Afterthought! - what will the finders think it is, and what did it do?
