Did you know that all cheetahs are genetically identical? The thinking is that some disaster wiped out cheetah populations back in the very distant past and that one pregnant female survived. This means that all cheetahs are vulnerable to the same diseases.

That's fascinating, Lulu. You live and learn!!! The baby cheetahs are so sweet too. I will indeed keep my fingers crossed. St Louis zoo. WOW. I'm often in St L. Have never been to the zoo there!!! Yet.
