Tmbsgrl..

I'm so glad that your dog is fine, i lost my lovely little friend 3 years ago & still miss her.

My worst memory has to be the images on the news programmes showing the deaths & devastation caused by the earthquake in Asia.

Oiy Valerie that is brutal, I lost my best friend at age 37, I still cry when I look at her photos. The worst is she died during a botched surgery.

I guess my worst 2004 memory was the absolute hellish pain I suffered the first day my 17 year old decided she did not want to live with me any longer.

2004 was a difficult one here. My father passed 2/14/04 on Valentines Day far away from us all? Then there were several events that continued through the year. A year of loss, growth, maturity, long & coming to an end...thank god. All that we endured this year helped us to "LOOK" at things entirely different. To be so "thankful" to have so much.

I would have to say the worst was my father leaving, that was hard.

Otherwise, I am ready for 2005, a year older, & ready to do it better...yippie!!!

Mine was finding out that my parents - married 55 years - were separating!! :-2

I was shocked - I had just taken them on an Alaskan Cruise (in August) and everything seemed fine, we had so much fun... then 1 month later - like I said - after being married 55 years - they decided they could not live under the same roof :(

Christmas and birthdays were rather stressful, in fact, I turned 40 in December and took off to Disney with my daughter and some friends... it really bothererd me that this happened with my Mum & Dad. I wanted to gettouttatown.

that's a horrible shock Cassie, we think of our parents as they have always been, our "rock". i learned that there comes a time the kid (us) has to be the 'rock'...through the fatal illnesses of both my parents within one year of each other....it made me feel like an orphan at 37. you'll get through this if i know you! :-4 and all you can do is love both of them. they waited until the kids grew up (you)...and they will find their way back to each other hopefully before their passing. they have a history. you are that history. it will be ok. and you are a strong lady. :)

Excellent reply Jack!! Let's turn this thing around, shall we?

>My son got his learner's permit, and has not hit a thing yet!

>My fiance told me this morning how much he loves me.

>Sunday there are going to be 4 generations of my family getting together for a trip to the auto show.

>My coffee maker made my java in record time this morning.

>I, too, had car trouble and got the problem fixed for 50 bucks! (Thought it would be a couple hundred.)

>A girl at work gave up 2 shifts to me, which means I'll have extra cash in the bank.

>My parents arrived safely in Florida, and are having a great time.

>My son called me yesterday, out of the blue, for no reason.

>I found 5 dollars in the pocket of my jacket.

>It's raining here. And melting all the snow. :yh_dance

I had a blowout on the freeway Monday morning and no one got hurt.

Not only that, I had money in my "Car maintenance" fund to get new tires.

Paid off a ton of debt in '04

Went back to school...on the boss's dime, yet!

Maintained a 4.0

Bought a house

Got a promotion

Since August 2004, it rained and rained and rained. And d ya know what? Its still raining with some snow on high ground mixed in.

All together now....one...two...three..I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain. Its a glorious feeling I'm happy again. If there is really a God out there, Male

& Female, I don't give a hoot. Please let the sunshine in. :-6

I, too, had a tire blowout. Doing 65 mph on the freeway. The car continued

to drive fine, I didn't hit the center divider or anyone else and I'm fine.

The helicopter my sister usually flies in went down killing all 5 aboard, my

sister had scheduled herself at another facility that day.

A suspicious spot on a mammogram turned out to be nothing more than a

harmless cyst...
