Hi all!

My name is Rick, and I am a farmer from northern scotland. Unfortunitly, due to my location in the Caingorm National Park, I have been unable to have the internet at my house untill just one month ago!

It took around 3 weeks to get it installed, and after reading a few "idiot's guides" I decided it was time to start surfing.

This forum was said to be one of the easiest around to use, but is still prooving a bit tricky... I'll get the hang of it eventually.

However, I am wanting to ctach up with all the "webless" time that I nhave mised out on over the years!

My friend said that all the net is good for is pornography, but I am hoping he is wrong. Although this has prooven to be a very powerfull tool for that use!;)

Anyways, I was wondering what you people think I have missed out on. Another friend said I am missing out on M.M.O.s, but I don't know what that is! Sam said they were gay, but I am straight, should I still check them out?

Anyways, back on topic, what have I missed out on? Is it true you can easily get illegal things such as un-released movies and german hardcore video CD's on the internet?

Any help with these things (and any good sites you know) would be ace.

I imagine you could get a lot of illegal things on the web if you had the right connections. That's not me though.

Multi-player gaming is not for everyone but I don't get the sexual connotation.
