YOur Bengals looked good, not as good as my Chargers.. You just need to win them all now and we will see you in the playoffs..:wah: :wah:

The SAINTS my second home team smacked DALLAS last night.
we needed the Colts to win that game...

We play them next week, and coming off of a loss like that will make them play alot better the following week, but not only that, Jacksonville was 7-5 as well, and is still tied with cincinnati for the Wild Card race.

I realize that the Wild Card hosts two positions, but I am looking for Cincy to have the best record, so that their fate can go untainted.
Oh trust me, we'll be there...

Cincy looked good because they played Oakland(Ah man I am sorry for anyone whos an Oakland fan, but they are bad).

Palmer threw three bonehead interceptions, which I knew he would, because Oaklands pass defense is the best in the league...even though Cincy actually picked them apart threw the air for the most part, but they pick everyone apart with that offense...

Well, Denver, Kansas City, as well as the N.Y Jets all lost last night as Cincinnati needed in order for them to get a firm hold on the AFC Wild Card race(I say Wild Card now because Baltimore won last night, which has left them still with a lock hold on the AFC North division - The division Cincy is in)

Cincinnati is currently still the number 5 seed having a better conference record than Jacksonville by a lead of one game. What was 5 teams with the same record of 7-5 last week to show a 5 way tie between Wild Card hopes has shrunk as a result of the losses I mentioned above to two teams having an 8-5 record over that of the other three falling to 7-6.

Cincinnati and Jacksonville are the favorites for Wild Card contenders in the AFC playoffs, but the N.Y Jets has a by far easier schedule. Because I believe Cincinnati and Jacksonville are better teams than that of the Jets, I think the race will have a way of equalling out...It should be a thrilling remainder of the season, and Denver, Kansas City, and N.Y are all still in it to say the least.

Kansas City plays Jacksonville in the final week, and Cincinnati plays Denver after next week, so the race is going to go down to the wire.

Oh, BTW --

I predicted that Jacksonville would beat Indianapolis, as well as other predictions that I am usually correct about...

So I will go ahead and post my postseason predictions now,..when the race is simply too close to call in the eyes of many anylists.

(psst,..I don't do too bad at Sportsbook.com either)

AFC

New England

Baltimore

Indianapolis

San Diego

Wild Card -- Cincinnati(yeah, yeah, I'm biased), Jacksonville

NFC

Dallas

Chicago

New Orleans

Seattle

Wild Card -- N.Y. Giants, Minnesota(Minnesota will slip in with a record of 9-7, over Atlanta)

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Well, Atlanta lost to Dallas this week placing the Falcons at a 7-7 record, which is good enough for the second and last wild card birth in the NFC,..

But Minnesota is at 6-7 and have yet to finish this weeks game, and upon a win would be in an even place tie with Atlanta for a wild card spot...

Stick with me, I know what I'm talking about...Some would have said I was crazy for that prediction...It doesn't look so crazy now does it?

Also, I accounted for strength of schedule in the remainder of the year, and if Minnesota can beat the NY Jets today, they will then have a much easier schedule than Atlanta who has to still play Carolina(6-7) and Philadelphia(7-6), whereas Minnesota only has to play Green Bay(5-8) and St. Louis(5-8).

If you're looking for a wager with a high payout in relation to possibility, put your money on Minnesota squeezing into the playoffs at 9-7 over Atlanta. It's a long shot, but one that I feel will be the most likely scenario.

Minnesota has to beat the Jets today, and they have fallen down 20-7...

If they win today, it will happen,..

if they don't, then it will be a race for anyone in the NFC(As for the Wild Card).

On a side note:

What the hell is going on with the Superbowl contenders of yesteryear?...

Seattle just lost to San Fransisco, and Pittsburgh is actually doing worse...

Wouldn't have guessed such an outcome ever...

Just goes to show how competitive the NFL is.

Yes indeed.

I think everyone is going to have to scratch everything I have said...:wah:

Well, actually, they should win their next two games, so they might end up 8-8,..which can still be good enough to get a Wild Card spot depending on the others' future in the NFC. ;)

Wow,

I have to say that, without a doubt, Tennessee has by far won the most improved team award of 2006. After starting 2-7, they have now won their last 5 games, and among those 5, they have beaten Indianapolis, Jacksonville(today), the Giants, and Philadelphia...Superbly impressive.

All with a rookie quarterback in Vince young.

I look for Vince Young to add on to his already steller contract.

It doesnt matter. I dont want them in the playoffs, theyre not good enough to be there. I mean they suck, anyone can see that. Took coach 14 frickin games to pull Brad Johnson. What a frickin moron.

What an ass he is. And they still suit up and throw the ball to Troy Williamson. This guy has dropped more balls than anyone in the league. What a jerkoff coach is. Stupid jerkoff ass. :-5

To be honest, every game they have lost, they have been against teams that are good, with the exception of Green Bay.

But, indeed the playoffs are always tough.

Still doesn't mean anything...hell look at what Pittsburgh did last year and look at them now(even though they have won their last 4 of 5 games(I think)).

He set the NFL all time single season rushing record before the first half of week 15...It's a record that I'm sure will stand for some time,..unless of course he breaks himself next year.

I should say, that the record will more than likely be increased as there are 2 more games to play.

Oh, thank you CARLA...I turned off the game with 4 minutes still left to play out of disgust...

Bresnahan just didn't account for the entire middle of the short field, for the entire game...at some point I would have thought he would have made the defense aware of the short dump offs, but the Manning just kept dumping it off 10 yards down the field...blatantly obvious too...our defense is just not a playoff caliber defense, and even if they do make it, it's going to take an extreme amount of luck to be successful...

Our O-line was man handled by the Colts D-line for the whole game...Whitworth is a rookie, and he had to guard one of the single best defensive ends in the game in Dwight Freeney...

To be honest, if Marvin doesn't work on some things as soon as possible, Cincy may just end up 8-8...

Here's to hoping.

You guys are going to say I'm crazy, but Minnesota still has the second best chance in making the Wild Card spot for the NFC playoffs...

Just bear with me...

East

x-Dallas 9 5

Philadelphia 8 6 Philidelphia still has to play Dallas who leads the division, as well as has to play Atlanta who has a record of 7-7, in which a loss by either team would be very costly.advantage Minnesota.

NY Giants 7 7 0 Still has to play New Orleans and Washington, needing to win both, and a Philidelphia loss.advantage Minnesota.

Washington 5 9 Out

North

z-Chicago 12 2

Green Bay 6 8 Green Bay will lose to Minnesota next week.

Minnesota 6 8 Minnesota plays Green Bay, and St. Louis, both of whom are 6-8, and needs to win in order to eliminate both St.Louis and Green Bay. and concidering I believe Minnesota is better than both, in the event of an 8-8 record tie throughout the NFC, Minnesota would win the tie breaker as a result of having a better conference record.

Detroit 2 12 out

South

y-New Orleans 9 5

Atlanta 7 7 Has to play Philidelphia, and will lose. advantage minnesota. 8-8 record would lose a tie breaker with Minnesota.

Carolina 6 8 Plays Atlanta and New Orleans. loses tie breaker to Minnesota.

Tampa Bay 3 11 out

West

Seattle 8 6

San Francisco 6 8 Has to play Denver and will lose. advantage Minnesota.

St. Louis 6 8 will lose to Minnesota in the final week.

Arizona 4 10 out

So what's the betting on the outcome of tomorrow's clash in Dallas.

Of course T.O. would love to stick it to the Eagles but look what happened at the Linc early in the season.

The Eagles are a much tighter squad in recent weeks and could still win the Division.

Certainly they are favorite to get to the play-offs and some announcers are talking of them being a 'dark horse' for the SB come Feb.

Yes I understand that, but the long snapper screwed up a chance to tie the game with only 41 seconds to play...Being a professional he should have known to deal better with his inability to calm his nerves...

It should have never have happened.

I understand you win some and you lose some, but there's a difference in how you win, just in the same there's a difference in how you lose as well...

All it takes is two more victories over mediocre NFC teams....it's definitely doable.

Actually the Saints offense is something to respect wholeheartedly...

But the NFC is rather meek in comparison to the AFC...

That doesn't mean all of the teams in the NFC are not going to be able to live up to their hype in the Superbowl...

The Saints and Chicago are enough to worry anyone in the AFC.

Granted I do think that the Saints will need to play flawlessly in order to win in the AFC, but Chicago's defense will always keep them in Superbowl contention.
