I make them up for my nieces. They like makeup and hair stuff -- all the typical girly things. I always put chocolate in there, too, because you can never go wrong with that! :guitarist

I'm sure whoever gets those stockings are happier than ever come Christmas time.

i give them to my grown up daughters & fill them full of things they loved when they were small, they get all sentimental, its really cute :-4

I really like that, Buttercup. I must try it next year for my daughter and son (I know I won't get it all thought out now in time for this year)

On my budget this year, "stocking stuffers" will be regular gifts.

I usually put candy, little toys, coloring books, crayons, mittens and stuff like that.

Me too. And I put in a new toothbrush in a 'cute' design, like pokemon, and a smallish tube of toothpaste. It's a very useful gift after all that choccie! :wah:

I enjoy the stockings the best - for men/women gloves - candy - key chain-

sometimes jewlery - make up/cologne. My nephew gets a condom, fun things.

My husband has a habit of hiding some of my gifts - last year a small gift was placed on the blade of the ceiling fan - until I turned the fan on, he loves Christmas - I'd rather go to Vegas .

The dollar store is a great place to buy stocking stuffers...sometimes....I sometimes forget to buy stocking stuffers, good ole' Mom has stuff on hand...

small calendars, toothbrushes, candy kisses, gift cards (last year ice cream shoppe) and fun little toys for the kids...jewelry for me...love it!! (yes I'm spoiled!!)

I have more fun buying stuff for the stockings than buying presents. it's the little surprises that are always so much fun.......dollar general is a good place to get some really neat gifts for em.........

I love christmas stockings.

My x-husband's parents would always use Christmas to get at each other in a bad way. Like they would put a rock in his stocking and tell him he was bad. This was when he was an adult. Or they'd buy weird, strange and out of context kind of joke gifts. Things that you wouldn't keep. I don't know maybe I'm being negative. I just always thought christmas was the time of year to be nice to your family and friends.
