i was a training officer for some time...i begged off finally, despite the 'prestige' and extra pay...it's too damn nerve-wracking to have someone right out of the academy glued to your hip in mortal terror, as well as being armed!

Try living in Muncie... It's a joke. An invasion of privacy. Is it right for TV Producers to shove a camera in your face if you get pulled over for a brake light out.

Someone's house caught fire from their christmas tree and lost so much right before the holiday.... the local newspaper just had to remind people that a 'TV show' was on the scene.

Please do not watch the show when it comes out. IT will only encourage them to go to other cities. . . . And INVADE your privacy.

I expect if TVInvasion were the mayor, the show would be getting far less local assistance.

The local paper, the Star Press, doesn't seem to be fighting the behaviour, but I'm not surprised there are locals so outraged that they feel the need to tell the world by way of forums like ours.Koch was one of about a half dozen motorists pulled over by the celebrity officers between 8 and 9 p.m. Wednesday.

At the end of the pullover Koch signed a waiver, agreeing to appear on film. Even so, she said, "I'm not thrilled with the idea." TVInvasion, if you can find time to come back on occasion and give a feel for local opinion as you experience it, we'd be interested. If you join in the other threads too, you might find you enjoy the place in its own right.

I just posted about this show! I'm really looking forward to it, I'm a fan of a few of the stars, specifically Trish Stratus, La Toya, and Jack Osbourne. What I want to know about all this hoopla about rights to privacy: Last I checked you have to sign a release to be shown on TV. The only exception to this is when an entire area is posted as a "film set", but there have to be signs in that area. I would imagine just being randomly pulled over they can't use footage of you unless you acquiesce and sign a release (which I wouldn't do for free if I were you).

I've got the "witty reply" that was missing:

Silicone everywhere sounds like a great plan for the whole show.

Heh, here's your worst nightmare then: http://www.ugoto.com/videos/cbs-armed-- ... range.html though I did like watching Jack with that M4. I hope that they give those to the rest of the cast on the actual episode.
