Married 3 years this past October. Been together 7.

married, it'll be 10 years next june. we lived together for just over 3 years before we got married. :-6

Perfect sense. I think a lot of times people settle for less than they want or deserve just so they are not alone and then wonder why they are miserable.

Single a very, very, long time.

I'm very happy with my 'status'

My first marriage lasted less than three years. I remember looking at my then hubby while he was sleeping and saying to myself, "If I don't get out of this relationship *now*, I'll still be here ten years and two kids down the road."

I was 'alone' for several years. I decided I'd rather be 'out there' looking for True Love than stay married in what I thought was a complacent relationship.

I'm content with the life choices I've made
