Does your definition relate to your religion or to other factors like your job/business etc?
i believe we are all here for a purpose but i do like dolphins better :wah: :wah:
i believe i'm here to try and make the world a better place and i've started with me , i have made the changes in me that i would like to see in the world i try to be kind and compasanate ' i always tell the truth, i always help other people ' i try not to fight and i try to forgive those that have hurt and done me wrong , now if every person did that the world would start to be a better place
i'd like to be a veggie i hate the thought of eating animals honest imagine if there was an advanced alian race that took over the world and they kept your relitives in pens fattened them up dismembered them then hung them up in shops and ate them how would you feel i think civilized races should not eat flesh and blood its wrong
but the wind and other side affects do me in
i think i'll have a hammyburger later :wah:

Well since I am of the persuasion we only get one time around, I opt for giving to humanity as much as i take. Leave no scar on the face of the earth in passing through. And leave, knowing I was loved as well as loving.
And go out as loud as when I came in! Screaming!:yh_bigsmi

Often, I need to believe I have a purpose, otherwise it all seems a bit pointless...but I still haven't a clue what it is. Sometimes it doesn't seem important.

My purpose is to live my life, the best way possible. It is my belief in the existence of God, that gives purpose to what I do.
My purpose in life:
1. to care for my husband
2. to care for my children
3. to help children and adults in my role as a teacher
4. multiple goals in my religious beliefs
5. personal purpose-to fulfill these to the best of the ability Iwas given

A writer can't tell a good story until they collect experiences. The more experiences they collect the better the story. I'm here to tell the best story I possibly can.

Hamster;464218 wrote: Ok thank you..Can I ask when you would write this story? At the end of this life experience or is it an ongoing thing?
I've already started it but, as stories often do, it keeps taking twists and turns where the characters say or do something unexpected and then a whole new dimension gets added to the plot that wasn't in the outline. It started out as a booklet, then turned into a screenplay, I'm not sure what format it will take in the end. Or when it will be completed.

Sorry for all the questions-but hey I am a nosy cow!!:wah:
just the scribe, recording it. funny how the writer, who is supposed to be creating the characters, often finds the characters saying or doing something unexpected. they all have a life of their own. i just record what happens.

Hamster;464264 wrote: I am intrigued as I have often thought about this before. How would you (for example) as you write your story affect me writing mine?
Its the whole question of fate/destiny versus free will surely. If you were to say or do something that affected me..that would change my story and the characters in it.
Do you believe we have free will to make these choices or are we all part of a collective story here?
I like to think it's a big beautiful tapestry we are weaving. We each have our own part or thread to weave into it.

Because I feel in essence we all have the same intentions and goals. Just a different means of achieving the same end. The betterment of humanity and our futures.

My purpose - Care Taker
I have taken care of people all my life. Since the age of @8, I have cared for siblings, grandparents, father, husband, extended family, and many friends.
Each soul I have touched weaves out into that tapestry.
