Japanese veterans

Proposed: that this House honours Japanese veterans of both World Wars.
Observation: Veterans Day or Armistice Day (depending on where you live), which has just passed, was mentioned several times on ForumGarden in terms of honouring and remembering only Allied soldiers.
Would anyone like to take a position?
