I say Happy Holidays. When I'm wishing someone happiness, I don't know what holidays they celebrate. It's a generic, non-offensive way to wish them well....or so I think...I'm probably insulting hordes of people. Perhaps I should buy bigger door locks. LOL

To those who don't want to use "Merry Christmas" for whatever reason do you also not speak the word "Christmas" at all? If you use the word in say a sentence like "I went to a Christmas party" why?
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllll allow me to ad my 2cents worth
I try to remember to say Happy holidays, because there is many a faith out there that does not celebrate "christmas" but is somewhat forced into our holiday season, so why not be ethnically sensitive. But yes guilty of saying christmas cake, party, gifts, time, lights, shopping etc. Imagine serving us some "happy holiday fruit cake"

I say Merry Christmas, if you are so small minded that my greeting offends you, I'll gladly take it back and wish you "bugs and grinches in your britches", putz!:-5

Merry Christmas. If they don't celebrate it anyway, who cares? Why should it upset 'em? Would you be offended if someone said "happy hanukadam" or whatever?
