Little kitty Gracie went to heaven today. She passed away peacefully,

cradled in the loving arms of her daddy, with her mom and her sister

Tamsen close by.



She was a good kitty for all of her 15 1/2 years. A real pistol of a cat.

My Lalo kitty is 12.5.... Many blessings on the your cats life with you - many pictures and memories. I don't want to think of my Lalo's death.....it will be in 5 or 6 years.

I am so sorry to read this. May Gracie be at peace and romping with other beloved kitties where all kitties go after they leave us.

Thank you, everybody, for caring. It does help to know that

you understand how hard this is for us.



We just got back from taking a bunch of food and other kitty items

over to our animal

shelter, they in turn give it to our local Forgotten Felines group, and

that is somewhat comforting.

Val, I'm so sorry to hear this. 15 years is a long and I'm sure happy life for your kitty. I know you'll miss her forever.

I just read this today so sorry Gracie is no longer with you. :-1 She was a beautiful cat hopefully someday your sorry will turn to smiles in memory of "Gracie".

Valerie, I just read this thread, and I'm so sorry. I had a 20 year old cat that was a gentle sweet lover, and I feel for you. Your pain will ease.

I just saw this. Im sorry Val. This is hard.

I feel for you and share your pain,I lost my Cat Tissamin yesterday.My old buddy was with me for 12 years and we went through alot together and i will miss him dearly,I can't replace him and I never will.

I am happy your Gracie passed in a warm loving embrace.I wanted that for my T-man but it was not too be.He lost his life in the street,cold and lifeless i found him.At least I was able too bring him home and bury him with the dignity he deserved.

There is a whole in my heart,My cats where the keepers of my soul.

Val, Anastrophe, Schweet--I'm very sincerely sorry for your losses!

I lost one of my "sitting" clients this week....Miss Grendel (beloved of many, despite her rather ominous namesake!) was 19.

Interesting how something that small can leave such a big space as they pass, isn't it?

I'd like to think that Gracie, Tissamin and Grennie have already been met by my Annie, Oliver, Mao, Igor and Chloe, who can immediately show them where the heavenly Cheetos factory gives free samples to new arrivals!
