Yes, a garden party, with a large fire, and fireworks, and baked potatoes, and
sausages, and cocoa, and All That Sort Of Thing.

Not too sure what I'll be doing on Sunday, but I know that we have a annual Bonfire celebration at our local racecourse, so depending on the weather I may pop down and take a look. Besides they do sell one of the greatest sweet treats ever - candy floss, that on it's own might be reason enough to go hehehe.

Stood, freezing cold, watching hubby fail to light fireworks then get fed up and throw them on the bonfire (yes, I know it's dangerous - tell him he don't listen to me), worrying about kids getting hit by fireworks and if the goats are very scared, trying not to get frostbite - and loving it all!!!:) :wah:

It is usually good fun, the best part is that most families do their own thing, there are lots of organised displays around but it's more fun just having friends and family in the back garden. Especially last year when the fire brigade were called out 'cos someone thought our bonfire was out of control (it wasn't but aren't firemen sexy!!):sneaky:

Sadly i knew most of them as hubby used to be a retained fireman (before i met him - then he got a different uniform, no wonder I married him!!)

We're going to stick a couple of Catholics on the bonfire.
Actually we're having a bonfire party, with lots of lovely grub to go with it.
