i bought my sons laptop off of him Fujitsu Siemens amilo

off of him it has a DVD writer it , i took it back to Dixon's where he bought it 3 months ago as i could not get the DVD writer to work the shop was packed and i managed to get one of the 12 year olds that worked there to fit me in for 15 seconds and he said i needed to download soft ware to get it to work it was so busy and i had a hangover , firstly surely this should of come with it



has any one got any idea what he is on about

Try this one Jimbo, click on downloads, then choose the nero7 trial package. I use this, and I'm definitely technically challenged;)

I have an external burner/write from Nero. It burns images, text onto a disc. I use Lightscribe discs. Right now I just burn labels onto DVDs..as I have no lightscribe CDs yet.

Try this place Jimbo. You may be able to get the original set up files for the DVD.
