My BF and I are a bit odd like that though - he won't surf when I'm home, and I don't surf at home at all (only at work) If we're both home at the same time, we're snuggled up on the sofa with a bottle of something lovely (jack or wine) and a dvd or we go out...

We don't have the TV on unless there's something we want to watch, and we only have one TV in the house..... (music only in the bedroom)

In a way i think your right, Jim has become addicted to FG, but i do understand why, everyone is lovely. If we were in a pub we would spend our time talking to everyone so it isn't a great deal different. I can honestly say we chat about the threads and posts as much as we would chat through a dvd or a bottle of wine, i must admit it is me that does most of the chatting, but thats cause i multi-task better than him :sneaky: I think if we banned each other i'd drive him mad with my constant chatter!! I suppose everyone is different, but it works for us

I resent that remark...... I must admit i have been known to watch x-factor and the repeats, but it's boring now all the bad singers are off :rolleyes:

if you scratch the surface i guess everybody's relationships could be classed as odd

our deal is im online while sport is on tv, works for us but may seem odd to others

Whatever takes our fancy, what normally happens is one of us starts laughing or we talk about a thread, then we join in. I read through a whole post normally then i have to explain to Jim whats going on, in other words i do all the donkey work
