Boycotting....

you know I'm so tired of turning on the television and seeing all the mudslinging. I'm tired of weeding through all the B.S. to find a candidate who is going to do what they say they are going to do. I'm sure there are million others who feel the same as I do, so I say let's boycott elections. Maybe if nobody showed up to vote, politicians might get the hint that people are tired of their crap.

notice that this in the satire forum, as I don't think anyone would really boycott elections.

I agree, Sheryl. It's the same bs out of each one's mouth.

I'm to where I don't even take the presidency that seriously. Well, wait- I do take it seriously but not like I used to. The propositions and issues are more important to me than who wins the Presidency. I'm just disgusted with it.

When it comes right down to it, the main reason I vote is because I can. I feel like I'm doing it for all the women who came before women got the vote.

It's my firm and oft-stated opinion that those who do not vote do not get to bitch about the results. My one single vote is not about electing any particular person - although I do vote my conscience, always - it's about preserving my right to complain about it.

I can understand your frustration with politcs, but PLEASE DO NOT FAIL TO VOTE! If you don't exercise your "right" to vote, you give your vote away to those who're in office right now. Is that what you want to do?

Ok don't worry I'll be voting. I'm usually a poll worker anyways. :D

And for Chrissakes never, ever vote for the lesser of two evils. The lesser of two evils IS STILL EVIL!
