It seems there have been a large number of school shootings in the last couple of weeks. Colorado, Wisconsin and then today an armed student in Las Vegas and a shooting in a Amish school in Pennsylvania. It's really scary when something like this happens in a one room school house.

I just saw the Amish shooting on the noontime news.

It's getting scarier and scarier, isn't it?

They are now saying 6 people have died as a result. This is so sad, there were only 27 children that attended the school. It's just hard to imagine this happening in a community of folks that I've always seen as peaceful folks.

Oh, 6 now dead. This is so sad. Children will be afraid to go to school.:-1

I think so, Nevada has all schools in lockdown today.

I dunno Zinky. The Colorado shooting last week was a crazy guy not a student. Which is scary incident all by itself.

Schools are scarey anymore. My middle school is across the street from the high school. Last week the high school track team was practicing, and the local gangs came out to beat them up, for doing school activities. I mean, they beat them up with boards with nails in them, chains and crowbars. We all had to run across the street to help them while our school was getting out.

Oh God! Chronsi that is scary. I hope no one was hurt seriously and that the thugs were arrested.

The kids are afraid to rat them out-but one girl did, she called 911 up and the high school office on her cell phone before we got out there. Iwill ask tomorrow if they locked those creeps up.
