I've never had a cake a I didn't like but my absolute favorite is a coconut cake with fresh coconut grated on the top. :-4

I cannot buy the kind of cake I love. My mom used to make strawberry shortcake. It was heavy like maybe she made it with bisquick or maybe from scratch. Two layers then split them and put strawberries on each layer like a four layer cake. Heavy enough you could pour cream or milk on it and it did not dissolve.
