i'm trying not ramble on honest...last night i went out for a drink with my two cousins the first time 1 of the brothers had been out for 2 years his brother sam was murdered right in front of him he has trouble leaving the house now

we were in the pub and a gang of 15 to 20 youths were giving the young barman loads of grief for he has just come out about the fact that he is gay one even shouting out he was gona do some gay bashing my cuz looked a nervous wreck if i did not do something he would go home never to come out again

i pushed my way into the gang and said as a matter of fact its well proven scientifically men who have a problem with other men being gay really only get upset because they are secretly worried about their own sexuality so the next person that gives the barman **** we all know that your worried that your gay .. it did the trick they all piped down

then another guy said to me quietly what are you a gay friend then i told him the truth gay men dont bother me as i know i'm not gay

though i do admit i do look like a muscly right said fred a well known pop star in England and a gay icon

so what do you guys think am i right about last nights episode or not

are gay haters worried about their sexuality whilst if your not bothered by them your a real sexual tyrannosaurus just like me :wah:

2 bonus points if you know what film that line is from

Predataur.

This was researched a while ago, 2 groups of men, 1 group of 'homophobics' and the second group of 'not really bothereds' were asked to watch gay porn, the first group, the homophobics, were a LOT more turned on than the 'not really bothered' group.

I dont think that every guy who doesnt like gays is gay though.

some people have had it drilled into them whilst growing up that its wrong, some people dont agree with it because of their religious beliefs, some dont really mind gay people but pretend not to like them so they look cool in front of their mates which was probally the case with the group of lads you bumped into.

Jimbo,

I'm just glad the group of guys didn't see you in those tight shorts..

The question of sexuality might of been different.!!!

Love your stories

I think some homophobia is out of fear of "What if I am?"

That is too bad . Live and let live and all that.

That is true. But you have to wonder just what they are denying??

Jimbo...I hope none of the boys in the locker room were the same ones in the pub last night! (He's flashing, is what he's doing! :wah:)

Seriously, I always admire men who can just quietly go and do the right thing....and coming to the side of a fellow who needed some support was a VERY "right" thing to do!

So--I'll buy your next pint!
