Did Jacobeson have other charges of sexual abuse before 2003?
A backround check just isn't adqequate. Did Jacobeson just get a urge to sexual abuse a child after he turned 25? There had to be some signs prior.
It's just happening too often everywhere..

Prior to 2003 - so then why didn't the backround check show something.
Jacobeson - did he show up on your map for be safe in your neighborhood.?

I was thinking the same thing regarding 13yr old not knowing the good touch from a bad touch. Alot of false accusations are documented.

I would wait until the full story came out-sometimes it is abuse, but alot of the times it is not. At 13, I have known cases where a child will say things, and it ruin the teacher's reputation afterwards.

My niece recently saw another one of these films and said the best thing she took away from it was that it is not the victim's fault. Maybe it wasn't that she didn't know the difference between good and bad touch...maybe she was convinced it wasn't her fault and THAT's why she had the courage to come forward.
Just a thought.
