Ahhhhh Space!
I just picked up this used computer desk. It was alot older than I expected - probably 12-15 years old - but a good scrubbing, sanding, and a nice new coat of polyurethane, and voila! We decided to remove the hutch on the right because it blocked too much window.

Wow what a difference between the two. And for such an old desk it's looks fantastic AC, and so tidy and presentable. You did an excellent job!!

So where you pleased with how much it cost to get the desk to it's current state?I'm a DIY kinda guy, so I would've been disappointed if it didn't need some kind of work . I got this desk for about the cost of one of those wobbly little desks that come in a flat-pack. This one's oak. It will be solid and strong long after I'm tired of it. Maybe I'll put it in my will to use the wood to build my casket. [smilie=8,29,11]

Wow, it does look great!
Mine's covered with junk! I think I need to get a smaller desk - then it'll have room for less junk! :wah:

Looks like you've got quite a few 'treasured' bits around you desk...I like that....to be able to look at something and remember an event, a date, a treasured memory.
