hi every one my names Jim and I'm happy nothing unusual there you might think read my post under recapturing the joy .. its been hard but i made it .only some one who has lost a child can possibly know how you feel .there is hope you can learn to live again i did so can you

Wow..this intro caught my eye as I had an aquaintance a few years back who used "jimbo" as his nickname. I do not think you are him, though, as he had never mentioned losing a child.
Sorry for your loss, and hope you find good friendships here. This is a fine place.

Thirty-four years ago, I lost my firstborn son to meningitis. Even though I have moved on with my life after the grieving time, he will always have a special place in my heart and memory. Even now.
My condolences for you loss.

thats good to hear i've lost my daughter and my mom and 2 brothers and if i can be happy any one can ' its coming up to the birthday of my little girl and the anniversary of her death i shall shed a few tears but also i will think of how beautiful she was and how lucky i was to have her in my life but i shall remain strong and when i stop crying i will be happy again take care .. jimbo

That's exactly what I do when I start missing my Mom. I feel so lucky to have had the time I did with her.

i've spent many years with multiple family deaths all alone grieving and crying . i'm not gona waste another second being sad and if i can make any of you guys smile along the way so much the better . i wished i had this forum way back then the support you guys offer i'd of found happiness sooo much sooner .. thanks everyone
