Co-workers from the twilight zone

Some people are just simply logic impaired. Some get lost following the train of thought from point A to point B. Then there are those special people. People who have a loose grip on logic, those whose reasoning and trains of thought could only make sense in... The Twilight Zone.
I work with someone who is supposedly smart, seeing as how he has an MBA and all. Now, for this story to make sense you have to understand that it took him months (really) to get it through his head that you can't ship anything from the continental US to Hawaii by UPS Ground.
I work for as small software company. I fill the orders and handle the shipping. I saw that he had one order going to Alaska marked to be sent FedEx International Economy. The shipping method is chosen from a drop-down box so I kidded him about clicking the wrong option. It turns out it wasn't a mistake. "You know why I did that?" he asked. I knew full well there was no logical reason in this universe to send a package from New York State to Alaska using an international service. Turns out I was right. "I did that because they might have to fly over Canada." :-2
I can't be the only one who works with an immigrant from the twilight zone. So let's hear your stories. We'll all laugh together (assuming our faces don't freeze like that).
