Ok this may seem too early but really I need to get in gear with some planning.

We got the go ahead for our corporate christmas party, we don't want to spend a tone of dosh, but we want to have fun, so this means food, and drink but not a restraunt cause at a table you can only talk to the people beside you (spouse and another person zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) We are thinking a sports bar that has golf, and pool

Anyone got any great ideas.

I thought corporate twister but that was shot down quick like ahahahaha

We are not dinner theater people either.

Hiya Minxsy

I think a sports bar is an excellent idea! You've got different activities to participate in -- and no one has an 'assigned' seat. Plus, alcohol will be served.

Yup! Sounds like a great night to me! :)

Do you have a Gillian's? i don't know if it's a regional thing or not, they had one in SC and there is one in Memphis. It's this reall big bar and it has different areas like four different places in one. There is a habatchi grill in front then you're basic bar (but HUGE) and then a lounge area with couches and chairs, then the game area, TONS of games, then the dance club, then the deck with a vollyball net. I guess that's more than four. That would be an AWESOME place to go. But I guess not of you don't have one.

I vote for sports bar though, fun!

I wish we had that, it sounds fantastic... well I found the sports bar, it has virutal golf, pool, bowling of sorts, Mini golf (thoughout the bar) and and arcade. This could work, if I can sell the big wigs on "pub food"

That sounds like fun. You know they had bowling leagues for video bowling in Iowa?

No, it's not too early for Christmas planning. I'm pretty much finished with my Christmas shopping this year.!!!Yeh !!

The Sports Bar is a great idea for the CO. party.

Now how would you work that as far as a open bar to a certain amount $$ ? Or is everyone on their own ? I quess I'm asking what the CO will furnish if anything?

Not that the CO. has to, just asking.

I worked for one CO. and had a similar party (Sports Bar) , the CO. handed each employee a $100.00 bill upon arrival to cover all activities, drinks, meal, and that worked out great - easy for the establishment too.

I don't think we received a Christmas Bonus that year ? Everyone had a good time.
