I have 4 of them.. all custom pieces so there is not anything else like them.. A peacock sitting on a rose.. an anime style lion head (I am a leo), a tribal piece (designed by my daughter), and a bent arm sun with my astological symbol in the center, (the sun being my planet)... heard a great saying once concerning tat's .. welcome to your new addiction..

I don't have one, but I want one. I want a little devil, leaning back, with attitude on my ankle.

Well.. before you get one Peg.. make absolutely sure that you want it. It doesn't wash off. And interview the artist, check his parlor, make sure it is super clean .. sterile.. new ink, needles, etc for each tat he/she does. Make sure they practice good hygiene.. etc.. I interviewed each artist that did my work, and watched them work before I said yes.

i am a lifetime SCUBA diver, have a shark on my shoulder (and a deal..."you don't eat me and i won't eat you"!

) a porpoise on my outer thigh, :-6 ... and a union jack on my right bicep :-4 . many of the deputies i work with have barbed wire around their upper arm, but i don't particularly like it. a bit too masculine for me.

Hey LC...
My brother dives.. he just took it up a couple of years ago. Went to Mexico last week and did a couple of dives there. I might take it up.. Wanna visit Belize in the near future. If not to dive then to just hang in a hammock on the beach and have the cabana lady bring me cocktails...

Don't go to belize without at least snorkeling and seeing the reef! it's another world and contains colors never seen on land.when i dive all thoughts at the surface are forgotten, truly. it is cathartic and gorgeous. i hope you try it!

Oh for sure. I snorkeled the reefs off Jamaica while there.. spectacular to say the least. And the barrier reef off Belize is the largest outside of the great barrier off Australia.. so I will do that for sure.. then I can swing in the hammock on the beach and have the cabana lady get me cocktails..

there seems to be a theme in your reverie...hammock, cabana lady, cocktails..... :-6 sounds like a plan! LOL...tip, get one of those disposable underwater cameras. i have a pro motormarine U/W camera, but you don't need that for some really fun shots of the fish and coral heads...in fact snorkeling you are at near-surface where the most light abounds for good color, at about 15-20 feet you start to lose colors. so find a shallow reef and impress your friends with great U/W camera work!

i always say "SMILE MR. BARRACUDA"!!

better a piece of seaweed than a piece of your leg

here's another tip...wear NO jewelry in water, 'cudas like shiny things. they will follow you all over the reef, but never attack divers. ok...back to tattoos....carry on, i just worked 12 hours and need to get to sleep!
